New Product Developement

Knobs and totes for Lie-Nielsen bench planes are currently under development. I’m documenting the entire process for a series of blog articles. At the very least you will get a feel for the processes involved in tote making, but, hopefully you will get enough information to make your own totes if you so choose. We often find old planes at the local flea market or an estate sale with broken totes. I would like to show you that it is possible to make a good looking and good feeling tote in your own woodshop. Once you know how to start and what steps are needed it is not that hard to do.

I hope I can start this series next week.

As always thanks for stopping by and feel free to make any comments you like.
